Job Description

WeMAL Technology Sdn Bhd is looking for a motivated and technically inclined Junior Engineer to join our team in Kuching.

Key Responsibilities

• Assist Senior Engineers and Project Engineers in the execution and coordination of technical projects.
• Assist with site inspections, measurements and basic technical assessments.
• Assist in the installation, configuration, testing and commissioning of security and ELV systems.
• Assist with troubleshooting and resolving basic technical issues under guidance from senior technical personnel.
• Read and understand basic technical drawings, layouts and wiring diagrams.
• Coordinate with technicians, subcontractors and suppliers on assigned project activities.
• Prepare site reports, service reports, checklists and other technical documentation.
• Assist in monitoring assigned project tasks and ensure work is completed according to the project schedule.
• Attend project sites and client locations when required.
• Perform other engineering and project-related duties as assigned.

Requirements

• Diploma or Degree in Electrical Engineering, Electronic Engineering, Electrical & Electronic Engineering, Mechatronics, Computer Engineering, Information Technology, Networking or a related field.
• Fresh graduates are encouraged to apply.
• Basic knowledge of electrical, electronics, networking or ELV systems.
• Able to understand basic technical drawings, schematics or wiring diagrams.
• Knowledge of CCTV, access control, alarm systems or networking is an added advantage.
• Good problem-solving and troubleshooting skills.
• Good communication and teamwork skills.
• Willing to learn and work in a hands-on, site-based environment.
• Willing to travel to project sites when required.
• Possess a valid driving licence is an added advantage.
