Junior Engineer

About the role

Assist with short-term planning, monitor daily operational progress in the field, and ensure mining activities proceed according to targets and safety standards.

Key responsibilities:

• Design mine openings (pit designs), disposal areas, or haul roads on a short-term scale under senior supervision;
• Conduct daily inspections to ensure that mining activities carried out by contractors or production teams align with the established technical design;
• Collect field data to update pit status maps and compile daily and weekly progress reports;
• Calculate and record production volumes for overburden and coal.

Requirements:

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree (S1) in Mining Engineering or related field;
• Fresh graduates or 1–2 years of mining experience are welcome;
• Basic knowledge of mine planning and mining operations;
• Proficient in MS Office and relevant software for mining is a plus;
• Good communication, analytical, and teamwork skills;
• Willing to work on a mining site in Bunyu, Kalimantan under a roster system;
• Strong commitment to safety and K3.
