The Opportunity

We are currently looking for a Junior Engineer to join our Environmental and Industrial Licensing team and support the development of licensing processes for industrial and environmental projects.

Location: Porto | Contract type: Full-time | Seniority level: Junior

Job Responsibilities – What you will build:

In this role, you will contribute directly to shaping our future and creating tangible impact.

You will:

• Support the preparation and follow-up of environmental and industrial licensing procedures, namely under the Single Environmental Licensing regime (LUA – Licenciamento Único de Ambiente) and the Responsible Industry System (SIR – Sistema da Indústria Responsável)
• Support the analysis of the legal and regulatory framework applicable to each project
• Collect, organise and analyse technical information for the preparation of licensing applications
• Support the preparation of technical descriptions, forms and other technical documentation
• Carry out technical, legal and regulatory research
• Support the analysis of industrial processes and their environmental components

• Degree in Chemical Engineering (preferred), Environmental Engineering or a related field
• Up to 2 years of professional experience
• A genuine interest in environmental and industrial licensing
• Enjoyment of research, information analysis and technical writing
• Strong organisational skills, rigour and attention to detail
• Good communication and teamwork skills
• Good command of Portuguese and English, both written and spoken
• Good knowledge of Microsoft Office
