Junior Estimator

As we continue to grow, we are seeking a motivated Junior Estimator to join our preconstruction team and help us build successful projects from the ground up.

Position Summary

The Junior Estimator will support the estimating and preconstruction team by assisting with quantity takeoffs, subcontractor solicitation, bid preparation, and project cost analysis. Responsibilities

Review drawings, specifications, and project documents.

Perform quantity takeoffs and assist with cost estimates.

Solicit bids and communicate with subcontractors and suppliers.

Assist in preparing competitive project proposals and bid packages.

Maintain accurate bid records and estimating databases.

Support the estimating team with pricing analysis and scope reviews.

Attend pre-bid meetings and site visits when required.

Coordinate with project managers, superintendents, and vendors during the preconstruction process.

Track bid deadlines and ensure timely completion of assigned tasks.

Assist with post-bid follow-up and project handoff activities.

Qualifications

Required

2 years experience in construction estimating

High school diploma or equivalent.

Strong math, analytical, and organizational skills.

Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel.

Ability to read and interpret construction drawings and specifications, or willingness to learn.

Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

Strong attention to detail and time management abilities.
