Job Overview

Telcon Signs LLC is looking for a motivated and detail-oriented Junior Estimator – Signage to join our team in Dubai. The ideal candidate should have a good understanding of technical drawings, quantity take-offs, BOQs, and cost estimation. This role offers an excellent opportunity to gain hands-on experience in signage projects, from initial costing to fabrication and installation.

Key Responsibilities

• Read and interpret technical drawings, shop drawings, elevations, and construction details.
• Prepare accurate Bills of Quantities (BOQs) and cost estimates using Microsoft Excel.
• Calculate material quantities, sheet usage, fabrication costs, and installation expenses.
• Coordinate with design, procurement, production, and project teams to obtain accurate pricing.
• Assist in preparing quotations, tender submissions, and project cost breakdowns.
• Review project specifications and identify material and cost requirements.
• Maintain organized estimation records and ensure submissions meet deadlines.

Requirements

• 1–2 years of experience in signage estimation is preferred.
• Ability to read and understand technical drawings and shop drawings.
• Good knowledge of Microsoft Excel, including formulas, lookups, and data organization.
• Understanding of materials, fabrication processes, and installation costs is an advantage.
• Strong numerical, analytical, and organizational skills.
• Good communication and coordination skills.
• Willingness to learn, adapt, and work in a fast-paced environment.
