ACORED is an integrated asset services business working with property managers and building owners across New Zealand. Height safety systems and platforms are our specialty, alongside remediation, facade works, reactive maintenance, painting and cleaning.

Our commercial team is growing, and we're looking for someone at the start of their estimating career to come in and grow with it.

This is a hands-on support role built around two things: getting the numbers right, and getting the right work in front of us.

You'll be measuring and costing jobs using our established rate schedules, and keeping our pipeline of tender and enquiry opportunities moving. You don't need years of estimating behind you - you need accuracy, good written English and the willingness to learn a system properly.

What You'll Be Doing:

• Quantity take-offs - measuring areas and quantities from drawings, site photos and markups (m² of painting, rendering, roofing, linear metres of edge protection).
• Basic cost build-ups - applying our pre-defined rates to produce labour, material, travel and sundry costings for review.
• Tender and lead screening - working through public tender portals and incoming enquiries, checking what we prequalify for and flagging what's worth chasing.
• Building the pricing pack - gathering drawings, specifications, scope, site constraints and key dates into one complete package ready for pricing.
• Commercial administration - quote registers, transaction numbers, CRM records, supplier information and follow-ups.

What We're Looking For

You'll bring:

• Strong English and literacy - you'll be reading specifications closely and writing clearly for internal and client-facing documents.
• Confident communication - comfortable asking questions, chasing information and dealing with account managers, suppliers and clients.
• Numeracy and accuracy - small errors in a take-off carry straight through to the price, so care and attention to detail matter.
• Organisation under deadlines - quotes run to fixed submission dates and you'll have several on the go at once.
• Software competency and the ability to quickly pick up new systems.
• Your own set-up - able to provide your own computer, internet and phone for day-to-day work and communication.
• Construction, trade or QS study exposure is a bonus, not a requirement.

You'll receive direct mentoring from the Commercial Lead, with a defined pathway to Estimator / Quantity Surveyor.

As you develop, you'll gain growing pricing authority - progressing to owning quotes in your own right before taking on larger jobs under review.

You'll also gain exposure across the full range of ACORED's work, from reactive maintenance through to major public-sector tenders.

This is a Philippines based, 100% remote, work-from-home (WFH) CONTRACTOR opportunity.

While we are advertising this role in Metro Manila, you could be based elsewhere in the Philippines, provided you have a fast, reliable DSL/Fiber internet connection.
