Specific Skills

This role would suit someone who has started studying Quantity Surveying, has some exposure to QS, or a Junior Estimator with up to one year’s experience. The successful candidate will have the opportunity to gain valuable hands-on experience within the aluminium and ceiling industry, with extensive training and mentoring provided. We are looking for someone who is:

• Matric (Required)
• Eager to learn and develop their skills
• Interested in the aluminium and construction industry
• Well-spoken and professional
• Organised and detail-oriented
• Reliable and committed
• Comfortable working with numbers and costing

The initial focus will be on invoicing, costing and general estimating support, with the opportunity to take on more responsibility and develop into a skilled Estimator / QS as your experience grows.

Responsible For

Key responsibilities to start with:

• Invoicing and administration
• Costing and pricing
• Assisting with estimating and QS-related tasks
• Learning the products, processes and requirements of the ceiling and aluminium sector
• Taking on additional responsibilities as your skills develop

Requirements:

• Junior Estimator, Quantity Surveying qualification/studies, or relevant experience
• Strong attention to detail and good numerical ability
• Reliable, organised and willing to learn
• Good computer skills
• A positive attitude and strong work ethic
