Job Summary

We are seeking a Junior ETL Developer to support data integration, transformation, and reporting initiatives. The ideal candidate has strong SQL fundamentals, familiarity with ETL tools, and the ability to troubleshoot data issues while working with developers and business teams.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain ETL workflows to extract, transform, and load data from multiple sources.
• Write SQL queries, joins, and stored procedures for data processing and validation.
• Assist with source-to-target mapping and implement data transformation rules.
• Perform data cleansing, reconciliation, and quality checks.
• Monitor scheduled ETL jobs, investigate failures, and support issue resolution.
• Assist in testing and improving ETL performance.
• Document workflows, mappings, test results, and technical specifications.
• Collaborate with senior developers, analysts, and QA teams to deliver reliable data pipelines.

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
• Working knowledge of SQL and relational databases such as SQL Server, Oracle, or PostgreSQL.
• Familiarity with at least one ETL tool, such as Informatica, SSIS, Talend, or AWS Glue.
• Understanding of data warehousing concepts, including fact tables, dimension tables, and basic data modeling.
• Strong analytical, troubleshooting, and communication skills.

Preferred Qualifications

• Basic Python or Unix/Linux scripting skills.
• Exposure to cloud data platforms such as AWS, Azure, or Snowflake.
• Familiarity with Git, job scheduling, and Agile development.
• Relevant internship, academic project, or hands-on experience building ETL pipelines.
