Junior Executive - Purchase

Job Description :

Key Responsibilities

• Identify and coordinate with suppliers for required materials.
• Obtain and compare quotations from different suppliers.
• Prepare and issue Purchase Orders (POs) after approval.
• Follow up with suppliers for timely delivery of materials.
• Coordinate with stores, production, accounts, and other departments for purchase requirements.
• Maintain purchase records, supplier details, quotations, and POs.
• Check prices, quantities, delivery schedules, and basic terms before placing orders.
• Assist in supplier evaluation and maintaining good supplier relationships.
• Track pending orders and ensure timely closure.
• Verify purchase invoices against Purchase Orders and delivery documents.
• Support the Purchase Manager in day-to-day procurement activities.
• Ensure purchases are made as per company policies and approved requirements.

Required Skills

• 1–2 years of experience in Purchase / Procurement.
• Good communication and negotiation skills.
• Basic knowledge of procurement and purchase procedures.
• Good knowledge of MS Excel and MS Office.
• Experience in ERP / ZOHO purchase software will be an advantage.
• Good follow-up and coordination skills.
• Ability to maintain accurate records and documentation.
• Willingness to learn and take responsibility.

Pay: ₹25,000.00 - ₹33,000.00 per month
