Junior Facility Engineer (Yard Operation)

The Job:

• Manage maintenance for yard facilities and equipment (e.g., cranes, generators, compressors, welding machines, and electrical systems).
• Ensure compliance with PTW, LOTO, and safety requirements.
• Oversee facility improvement and utility upgrade projects.
• Drive energy-saving and sustainability initiatives.
• Use CMMS and digital tools to improve maintenance tracking and reporting.
• Manage contractors and vendors for maintenance and project works.
• Prepare reports, budgets, and compliance documentation.
• Lead safety meetings and coordinate with internal teams.
• Ensure calibration, inspection, and certification of equipment.
• Monitor utility and diesel consumption records.
• Maintain workplace cleanliness and facility upkeep.
• Respond to breakdowns and emergencies to minimize downtime.

The Talent:

• Degree in Mechanical, Electrical, Civil Engineering, or related field.
• 1 -5 years of experience in facilities maintenance, preferably in shipbuilding, offshore, or heavy industry.
• Good knowledge of Singapore building and industrial regulations.
• Able to work on-site and respond to emergencies when required.
• Experience in sustainability and energy management initiatives is an advantage.
