About the Position

Conquest Solutions is hiring a dependable, motivated Junior Field Operations Technician to support daily operations across two established businesses: Conquest Solutions, a commercial technology and security systems integrator, and TrashTastic, a residential waste and recycling collection company.

This is a paid, full-time, entry-level position with regular responsibilities in both businesses. The employee will divide their workweek between assisting with commercial technology installations and service projects and performing residential waste collection and operational duties.

No prior experience in low-voltage technology or waste collection is required. We provide on-the-job instruction, supervision, and the tools necessary to perform assigned duties safely and effectively.

This position is ideal for someone who enjoys physical work, solving problems, working with tools and equipment, and taking pride in completing a job correctly.

Key Responsibilities

Conquest Solutions — Technology & Field Services

• Assist Field Services Technicians with the installation, maintenance, testing, and troubleshooting of commercial technology systems, including access control, video surveillance, networking, fire alarm, telephone, and automated gate systems.
• Install and support low-voltage cabling, conduit, mounting hardware, and related infrastructure under technician supervision.
• Assist with equipment installation, configuration, testing, and repair.
• Follow work orders, installation plans, project documentation, and applicable safety procedures.
• Prepare and organize tools, materials, vehicles, and equipment for scheduled projects.
• Maintain clean, safe, and organized work areas at customer properties and job sites.

TrashTastic — Residential Collection & Operations

• Perform scheduled residential trash and recycling collection services as part of a collection crew.
• Ride and work from collection vehicles while completing assigned residential routes.
• Assist with transporting collected materials to designated disposal and recycling facilities.
• Deliver, retrieve, and maintain residential collection bins.
• Perform daily vehicle and equipment inspections and report maintenance concerns.
• Address routine customer service requests and communicate service issues to management.
• Maintain the cleanliness, organization, and readiness of collection vehicles and equipment.

General Field Operations

• Assist with inventory management, material pickups, equipment deliveries, and warehouse organization.
• Maintain professional communication with coworkers, supervisors, and customers.
• Follow company safety policies and operating procedures.
• Complete assigned work accurately, efficiently, and within established schedules.
• Support additional operational tasks as needed across both businesses.

Required Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED.
• Valid Georgia driver's license with an acceptable motor vehicle record.
• Reliable transportation to and from our Marietta office.
• Dependable attendance, punctuality, and a strong work ethic.
• Ability to follow instructions, accept feedback, and work effectively as part of a team.
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to safe work practices.
• Ability to communicate clearly and professionally with coworkers and customers.
• Ability to repeatedly lift and carry up to 50 pounds.
• Ability to perform physically demanding work outdoors throughout the year.
• Ability to work on ladders and lifts at heights up to 20 feet, following applicable safety requirements.
• Ability to work on and around residential collection vehicles.
• Ability to satisfy applicable pre-employment background screening and drug testing requirements.

Preferred Qualifications

The following experience is helpful but not required:

• Construction, electrical, low-voltage, telecommunications, or other skilled trades.
• Automotive repair, mechanical work, or equipment maintenance.
• IT support, networking, or technical troubleshooting.
• Landscaping, warehouse operations, waste collection, or other physically demanding work.
• Customer service or field service experience.
• Familiarity with hand tools, power tools, and mobile applications.
• Technical coursework, trade-school education, or relevant certifications.

Schedule & Work Environment

• Full-time position, generally Monday through Friday, 8:00 AM–5:00 PM.
• Earlier start times and occasional overtime may be required.
• Weekly assignments include work for both Conquest Solutions and TrashTastic, based on operational needs.
• Work is performed at commercial job sites, residential properties, company facilities, and outdoors in varying weather conditions.

Compensation & Career Opportunities

This is a paid, full-time employee position with on-the-job training provided as part of regular employment.

Employees who demonstrate strong performance, technical ability, and reliability may be considered for advancement into Field Services Technician positions or additional operational responsibilities. Opportunities to pursue a Commercial Driver's License (CDL) may also be available based on company needs and individual qualifications.
