About Weston Security Systems

Weston Security Systems provides installation, service, and maintenance of hotel security and commercial door hardware. We specialize in Onity hotel locking systems, including Onity locks and OnPortal, as well as a variety of commercial security hardware.

We are looking for a reliable, motivated individual to join our team as a Field Service & Security Hardware Technician.

Responsibilities

• Install, program, service, and maintain Onity hotel locking systems
• Perform installations and service using Onity OnPortal
• Install, repair, and service commercial door hardware, including:
• Panic bars / exit devices
• Lever locks
• Door closers
• Commercial locks and related hardware
• Travel to hotels, commercial properties, and customer locations throughout the service area
• Deliver and pick up parts, equipment, and parcels as required
• Maintain accurate service and installation records
• Communicate professionally with customers, hotel staff, and management
• Follow all company safety procedures and installation standards

Requirements

• Valid driver’s licence in good standing
• Must have a reliable personal vehicle suitable for travelling to customer locations and transporting parts/equipment
• Must be insurable to drive for work purposes
• Clean and professional appearance
  Strong mechanical aptitude and problem-solving skills
• Comfortable working with hand and power tools
• Excellent customer service and communication skills
• Able to work independently and manage multiple service calls
• Willingness to travel between job sites and occasionally work flexible hours when required

Experience

Experience with any of the following is an asset:

• Hotel electronic locking systems
• Commercial door hardware
• Panic bars / exit devices
• Lever locks
• Locksmithing
• Access control systems
• Low-voltage or electronic security systems
• General mechanical or field-service work

Previous experience is an asset, but we are willing to train the right candidate. A strong mechanical aptitude, willingness to learn, and dependable work ethic are highly valued.
