Junior Field Service Engineer - IVD

What You'll Do:

We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Field Service Engineer to join our team. The successful candidate will play a crucial role in providing technical support, maintenance, and installation of our IVD equipment for clients in universities, hospitals, and laboratories across Hong Kong.

More Specifically, you will:

• Provides installation, basic operation training, and repair within an assigned area to assure continuity of customer operations and high levels of customer satisfaction.
• Undertakes scientific instruments installation, basic training, preventive and corrective maintenance via telephone and on-site service.
• Help other field service engineers to make solutions to solve on-site problems.
• Liaise with the global technical support centre and other specialists to report and correct faults.
• Perform installation, calibration, maintenance, and repair of IVD equipment and systems.
• Provide technical support and training to clients on the use and maintenance of IVD products.
• Diagnose and troubleshoot technical issues, ensuring timely and effective resolution.
• Maintain detailed service records and prepare reports on service activities.
• Collaborate with the sales and support teams to ensure customer satisfaction.
• Stay updated with the latest developments in IVD technology and industry trends.
• Comply with company policies, procedures, and safety standards.
• Overseas training is required.
• Required to provide 24 hours standby for local customers (with standby allowance and overtime pay)
• Assist in ad hoc duties as assigned.

Requirements:

• Min. Diploma / Degree in Biomedical / Mechanical Engineering / Electronics Engineering or equivalent
• At least 3 years of field service work in medical related equipment or in vitro diagnostic device
• Proficient in Microsoft office applications
• Good communication and interpersonal skills, resourceful, analytical, strong trouble shooting skills, customer focus, team spirited with positive working attitude
• Maintain at all times the highest standards of professional and personal conduct when interacting with internal external customers
• Willing and able to be on 24/7 standby (with standby allowance and overtime pay)
