Junior Film Scanner

• Prepare and inspect film materials before scanning.
• Carefully clean film to remove dust, fingerprints, and other contaminants.
• Operate film scanning and digitization equipment according to established procedures.
• Handle negatives, slides, photographic film, and other film materials with proper care.
• Monitor scanned images or footage for focus, exposure, color, dust, scratches, and other quality issues.
• Perform basic adjustments and corrections when necessary.
• Follow proper file naming, folder organization, and digital archiving procedures.
• Maintain accurate records of completed scanning projects and files.
• Perform basic cleaning and routine maintenance of scanning equipment and work areas.
• Identify damaged or problematic film and escalate issues to senior team members.
• Ensure original film materials are properly handled, labeled, stored, and returned after scanning.
• Follow quality control, data security, and film preservation procedures.
• Assist senior film scanning staff with larger or more complex digitization projects.
• Perform other related duties as assigned.

Qualification(s):

• Fresh graduates and candidates with no professional film scanning experience are welcome to apply.
• Basic knowledge of computers and digital file management.
• Familiarity with photography, film, scanners, or image-editing software is an advantage.
• Experience with Adobe Photoshop, Lightroom, or similar software is a plus.
• Willing to learn specialized film scanning equipment and workflows.
• Comfortable performing repetitive, detail-oriented work while maintaining accuracy.
