Junior Finance Associate

We are looking for a Junior Finance Associate to join the Luxembourg finance team of a well-established international industrial group specializing in advanced technology solutions. The company operates globally through an extensive network of subsidiaries, while its Luxembourg entities play a central role in supporting the Group's holding structure and international operations.

Working directly with the Finance Director, you will gain exposure to a broad range of finance activities across an international organization. This is an excellent opportunity for someone who enjoys learning, taking on new challenges, and developing well beyond a traditional accounting role.

You will be involved in financial reporting, group consolidation, tax, legal support, controlling, and the day-to-day financial management of international subsidiaries. Training will be provided, making this position ideal for a junior finance professional with a solid accounting foundation, a willingness to learn.

Key Responsibilities

Financial Reporting & Accounting

• Coordinate with external accounting service providers for the Luxembourg entities.
• Review accounting information and support monthly, quarterly and annual closings.
• Assist with statutory financial statements and audits.
• Participate in IFRS reporting and Group consolidation.
• Support intercompany reconciliations and balance sheet reviews.

International Finance

• Support the financial management of subsidiaries
• Assist with finance-related projects across the Group.
• Coordinate with local finance teams, advisors and external auditors.
• Help monitor compliance with local accounting, tax and corporate requirements.

Controlling & Analysis

• Assist with financial analysis and reporting.
• Participate in budgeting and forecasting exercises.
• Support ad hoc business analyses and management reporting.

Tax & Legal Support

• Assist in coordinating corporate tax and VAT matters with external advisors.
• Support legal and corporate administration for the Group entities.
• Help manage documentation related to holding companies and international subsidiaries.

Profile

• Participate in finance transformation and process improvement initiatives.
• Contribute to ERP and reporting improvements.
• Support various cross-functional projects depending on business needs.

● Bachelor's degree in Accounting/Finance

● Approximately 2-3 years of relevant experience (junior profiles or recent graduates with the

right mindset are welcome)

● Fluent English required; French is a plus; Slovene is a plus

● Comfortable working with autonomy and flexibility, willing to cover a variety of tasks

beyond a strict accounting job description

● Looking for stability rather than a fast-track career path

● Team player, reliable, hands-on
