About the Role

We are looking for a motivated and detail-oriented Junior Accountant to join our Karachi office and support the finance team at our Dubai Head Office. The candidate will work under the guidance of the Senior Finance Executive and Finance Manager, assisting with routine accounting tasks, data entry, account reconciliation, and financial record management.

This position is suitable for fresh graduates or individuals with initial experience in accounting who are eager to learn, improve their skills, and build a career in finance within an international business environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Enter daily financial transactions into the relevant systems and spreadsheets.
• Maintain and update accounting records and financial data accurately.
• Assist with weekly account closing and basic reconciliation tasks.
• Support the team in monthly closing activities and report preparation.
• Help verify account balances and identify differences between records.
• Update client account details, transaction records, and payment information.
• Assist in recording expenses, vendor invoices, and operational payments.
• Organize and maintain financial documents, files, and supporting records.
• Prepare basic reports and summaries using Microsoft Excel.
• Follow up on missing information and help resolve routine accounting queries.
• Coordinate with team members to ensure accounting tasks are completed on time.
• Support senior finance staff with day-to-day tasks and other assigned duties.

Requirements & Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Commerce, or a related field (B.Com, BBA, ACCA part-qualified, or equivalent).
• Fresh graduates are encouraged to apply; up to 1 year of relevant experience is preferred.
• Basic understanding of accounting principles and financial transactions.
• Basic knowledge of Microsoft Excel, including formulas, sorting, filtering, and lookup functions.
• Willingness to learn accounting systems, reconciliation procedures, and closing processes.
• Good attention to detail and accuracy when entering financial data.
• Basic analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Good written and verbal communication skills in English.
• Ability to follow instructions, manage assigned tasks, and meet deadlines.
• Responsible attitude when handling confidential financial information.
• Ability to work both independently and as part of a team.

Salary Range: PKR 35,000–50,000 per month

Pay: Rs35,000.00 - Rs45,000.00 per month
