Junior Financial Analyst – General Accounting

About the Role

OptiHR Business Solutions Inc. is hiring on behalf of its client for a Junior Financial Analyst - General Accounting to join its Philippine Controllership team.

This role is ideal for an accounting professional with at least one year of experience who wants to strengthen their skills in financial reporting, account reconciliation, variance analysis, and month-end closing.

What You’ll Do

• Support general accounting and month-end closing activities.
• Prepare financial and management reports.
• Perform account reconciliations and investigate discrepancies.
• Assist with variance analysis and explain significant movements.
• Maintain accurate financial records and supporting documentation.
• Help prepare financial statements and audit requirements.
• Support compliance with Philippine accounting standards and internal controls.
• Coordinate with internal teams to resolve accounting and reporting concerns.

What We’re Looking For

• Bachelor’s degree in Accountancy, Accounting Technology, Finance, or a related field.
• At least 1–2 years of experience in general accounting, financial reporting, or a similar role.
• Working knowledge of the full accounting cycle.
• Good Microsoft Excel skills.
• Strong attention to detail and analytical ability.
• Able to manage deadlines and work effectively with different teams.
• Willing to work onsite in Pasay City.

An Advantage, but Not Required

• CPA, CMA, or CFA qualification.
• Experience using SAP.
• Experience in the audit or logistics industry.
• Familiarity with Philippine GAAP and PFRS.
