The Position - Junior Financial Services Representative

We are seeking to hire a Junior Financial Services Representative to join our office. The Junior Financial Services Representative position focuses on four primary responsibilities:

• Employer Sponsored Plan Expertise: This process involves joining more senior advisors in meeting with Plan Sponsors, Plan Participants, and enrollees regarding their employer-sponsored plan benefits.
• Investment Research, Allocation, & Proposal Generation: This process involves assisting advisors in researching investments, meeting with wholesalers, building proposals for clients and prospects, and allocating funds across client portfolios.
• Financial Planning Execution: Participation in the Financial Planning process is vital to the position. Junior Representatives should be active in helping every stage of the process and understanding how to better serve clients in a variety of situations.
• Client-Facing Communication: Our Junior Representative will be assisting advisors in various forms of communication directly and indirectly with clients. From mailings to phone calls to newer digital forms of communication, this role requires firm writing and communication skills.

Qualifications & Requirements

• Education: Bachelor's of Business Administration in Finance or other similar degree preferred
• Certifications & Designations: Series 6 and 63; 7 and 65 or 66 preferred; Designations representing knowledge in the field preferred
• Experience: 0-3 years experience in the industry preferred
• Technical Skills: Familiarity with Investment Products, Basic Financial Planning Concepts, and a variety of computer software.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: From $45,000.00 per year
