Junior Foreman

Overview

We are seeking a new Junior Foreman to join our team as we grow. We are looking for someone who is friendly, mechanically minded, creative, and hardworking.

Responsibilities

• Site Measurement for custom miscellaneous metals and strucutral steel
• Coordinate with subcontractors, suppliers, and customers to facilitate smooth workflow and timely completion of tasks
• Monitor site safety practices, enforce safety regulations, and conduct regular safety inspections to prevent accidents
• Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and construction drawings to guide onsite activities
• Support quality control efforts by inspecting work for compliance with project specifications and standards
• Be customer facing onsite and in person dealing with customers
• Fabricating custom miscellaneous metals and strucural steel
• Installing and overseeing installation of miscellaneous metals and structural steel

Qualifications

• Proven supervising or leadership experience in a construction environment
• Strong knowledge of construction processes, safety protocols, and quality assurance practices
• Ability to read blueprints, schematics, and construction documents accurately
• 3 Years of welding and fabricating experience in construction
• Stick and Mig welding experience
• Ability to run equipment such as forklifts, telehandlers and skyjacks safely
• Excellent communication skills for coordinating with our customers
• Construction experience across various trades is highly desirable
• A clean driving record to drive company trucks

Pay: $30.00-$35.00 per hour

Expected hours: 40.0 per week
