Artlist is looking for a Junior Full Stack Developer to join our Payment Team (Growth Group) and help build our frictionless B2C checkout and monetization platform using Node.js and React.

You’ll join a collaborative, high-impact team that powers the direct customer purchase journey - from smooth credit card checkouts to modern digital wallets like Apple Pay and Google Pay. You will get hands-on experience across the entire stack, leveraging modern AI developer tools to learn fast, solve technical challenges independently, and build reliable financial workflows that directly impact customer conversion and revenue from day one.

What You'll Do

• Build end-to-end features: Craft responsive checkout UIs in React while building resilient backend endpoints and APIs in Node.js.
• Optimize payment funnels and integrate modern payment methods (Credit Cards, Apple Pay, Google Pay) to deliver an instant, smooth purchase experience.
• Ensure payment handling reliability, working with webhooks, asynchronous event flows and data consistency.
• Embrace modern AI tools to write better code, troubleshoot issues, and accelerate your learning curve.
• Collaborate closely with product managers, payment experts and experienced engineers in a supportive environment with direct mentorship.

Requirements:

• B.Sc. in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or equivalent practical experience.
• Solid foundation in Node.js and React
• Good understanding of REST APIs, webhooks, and asynchronous workflows.
• A strong sense of responsibility for live code - owning the release process, monitoring system health, and proactively troubleshooting production issues.
• A curious, investigative mindset: eager to dig into code, understand why things work, and tackle complex edge cases.
• Hands-on, daily use of modern AI coding tools to speed up research, iterate on code, and level up your skills.
• Strong communication skills, high initiative, and a growth-oriented attitude that thrives on feedback.

Nice to have

• Experience with relational databases, particularly PostgreSQL.
• Familiarity with cloud concepts or AWS infrastructure (messaging services like SQS / SNS).
• Any prior exposure to payment gateways or billing systems (e.g., Stripe, PayPal, Adyen, BlueSnap).
