Junior Full Stack Developer | Metro Manila [Hybrid]

About the role

We are seeking a Junior Full Stack Developer to support the development and enhancement of web-based applications. The successful candidate will work across both front-end and back-end development, collaborate with experienced developers, and contribute to building reliable and scalable software solutions. This is a hands-on development role for someone who is eager to expand their technical skills and gain broader exposure across the application development lifecycle.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and enhance web applications based on business and technical requirements.
• Work on both front-end interfaces and back-end application components.
• Build, maintain, and integrate APIs and backend services.
• Create responsive and functional user interfaces using HTML, CSS, and JavaScript.
• Develop and maintain database structures, queries, and data-related functions using SQL.
• Perform unit testing, debugging, troubleshooting, and application maintenance.
• Identify and resolve technical issues to ensure application reliability and performance.
• Participate in code reviews and follow established coding and development standards.
• Collaborate with senior developers, project teams, and stakeholders throughout the development process.
• Assist in technical estimation, task planning, and development documentation.

About you

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Software Engineering, or a related field.
• At least 1 year of hands-on experience in software, web, or full-stack development.
• Working knowledge of HTML, CSS, and JavaScript.
• Experience with at least one backend programming language, such as Python, Java, Node.js, or PHP.
• Experience working with SQL and relational databases.
• Familiarity with Git or other version control systems.
• Understanding of REST APIs and web services.
• Basic knowledge of software development practices, testing, debugging, and SDLC.
• Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.
• Good communication and teamwork skills.
