We are looking for a Junior Full Stack Developer who is eager to learn, grow, and build impactful software. Whether your interest lies in backend development with TypeScript and Node.js (Hono) or frontend development with React, you will have the opportunity to work alongside experienced engineers while contributing to products that make a real difference.

What You Will Be Doing

As a Junior Full Stack Developer, you will:

• Design, develop, and maintain features across both frontend and backend applications.
• Contribute to building scalable, maintainable, and modular software solutions.
• Assist in developing reusable components and shared frameworks.
• Produce and maintain technical documentation, including API specifications, ERDs, and system architecture diagrams.
• Write clean, well-tested, and maintainable code.
• Participate in code reviews and continuously improve your technical skills through collaboration with senior engineers.
• Troubleshoot, optimise, and enhance existing applications.
• Work closely with Product, QA, DevOps, and the engineering team in an agile development environment.

What We Are Looking For Essential

• At least 2 years of experience in software development.
• Proficiency in TypeScript.
• Experience developing backend applications using Node.js (preferably Hono) and/or frontend applications using React.
• Good understanding of software engineering principles and coding best practices.
• Experience using Git and modern CI/CD workflows.
• Experience working with PostgreSQL and familiarity with NoSQL databases.
• Experience writing unit and integration tests.
• A proactive attitude with the ability to work independently while collaborating effectively within a team.

Nice to Have

Experience with any of the following would be an advantage:

• Exposure to designing scalable and maintainable software systems.
• AWS cloud services, ECS, EKS, Docker, or cloud-native technologies.
• RabbitMQ or other messaging platforms.
• Third-party integrations such as payment gateways, e-signature platforms, or identity verification services.
• Geolocation or mapping technologies.
• Redis or other caching technologies.

Pay: $4,000.00 - $5,500.00 per month
