Junior Full Stack Software Engineer

We are looking for a driven Junior Full Stack Software Engineer who is eager to learn, contribute, and take ownership. We care more about your ability to learn quickly, communicate clearly, and build consistently than the number of years on your résumé.

You will work alongside senior engineers, participate in real client engagements, write production code, receive thoughtful code reviews, and gradually take on larger responsibilities. This is not a role focused on isolated exercises or busywork—you will contribute to features, bug fixes, APIs, testing, and engineering discussions that directly support client and business outcomes.

Tasks

What You’ll Do

Full-Stack Development

• Build, enhance, and maintain front-end and back-end features with guidance from senior engineers.
• Develop responsive, user-friendly web interfaces using a modern JavaScript framework such as React, Vue, or Angular.
• Contribute to back-end services, APIs, integrations, and business logic using Node.js, .NET, or comparable technologies.
• Help implement and consume RESTful APIs.
• Work with databases, application data, and third-party integrations as needed.
• Write clean, readable, maintainable code that follows team conventions and engineering standards.

Collaboration and Learning

• Work closely with senior engineers, project managers, designers, and other contributors on active client projects.
• Participate actively in standups, sprint planning, retrospectives, technical discussions, and code reviews.
• Ask thoughtful questions, seek context before implementing solutions, and apply feedback quickly.
• Learn new frameworks, libraries, tools, and client-specific stacks as project needs evolve.
• Communicate progress, blockers, and technical decisions clearly and proactively.

Quality and Reliability

• Write and run unit, integration, or end-to-end tests appropriate to your work.
• Help identify, debug, and resolve software defects.
• Participate in peer reviews and use feedback to improve code quality.
• Learn and apply secure coding, data-handling, and privacy fundamentals.
• Assist with small performance, usability, reliability, and maintainability improvements.
• Use Git and team workflows to manage branches, pull requests, releases, and collaboration.

Requirements

0–2 years of professional, internship, freelance, academic, or substantial project-based software-development experience.

Foundational knowledge of at least one front-end framework: React, Vue, or Angular.

Foundational knowledge of at least one back-end technology: Node.js, .NET, Python, Java, PHP, or a similar server-side platform.

Understanding of core web-development concepts, including HTML, CSS, JavaScript or TypeScript, browser-client behavior, and responsive UI development.

Basic understanding of RESTful APIs, HTTP methods, request/response patterns, authentication concepts, and JSON.

Solid programming fundamentals, including variables, functions, objects, asynchronous programming, data structures, debugging, and problem solving.

Familiarity with Git, GitHub, GitLab, or similar version-control workflows.

Ability to write understandable, maintainable code and follow established engineering practices.

Strong spoken and written English communication skills.

Ability to work effectively in a remote, collaborative, feedback-driven environment.

A self-directed learning mindset and willingness to work across unfamiliar tools and codebases.
