Junior Full Stack Developer (Java & React)

Location: Amsterdam, hybrid (2 days in office)

Duration: 6 Months B2B Contract

We are hiring Junior Full Stack Developers for a leading global tech company in Amsterdam.

You'll work across the stack on customer-facing applications, with a strong focus on backend development in Java and Spring Boot and React.js on the frontend.

What you'll do

• Build backend services in Java and Spring Boot
• Develop frontend features in React.js
• Write clean, tested, reusable code and apply good design principles (SOLID, DRY)
• Work with microservices, REST APIs and SQL/NoSQL databases
• Learn how services are monitored, deployed and supported in production
• Collaborate with developers, product owners and your engineering manager

What we're looking for

• 1-3 years of professional development experience
• Solid Java and Spring Boot (backend skills are the main focus of the assessment)
• React.js and JavaScript experience
• Familiarity with microservices, SQL and NoSQL databases
• Good communication and problem-solving skills, and a willingness to learn
• Bachelor's degree (or equivalent experience)
