About the role
This is a Geodetic Engineer position supporting surveying and mapping operations. The role involves assisting with fieldwork, data processing, and documentation under the direction of a Senior Geodetic Engineer.
Key responsibilities
- Provide assistance during fieldworks
- Encode and process data
- Prepare mapping and documentation requirements
- Conduct layout and survey work as delegated by the Senior Geodetic Engineer
- Submit survey data and field results for review and validation
- Request instruments, tools, or supplies needed for assigned tasks
- Coordinate directly with site engineers for layout instructions
- Recommend adjustments to layout markings based on site conditions
About you
- Licensed or board-eligible Geodetic Engineer
- At least six (6) months relevant experience
- Familiar with the use of surveying instruments such as Total Station, GPS, and Level
- Can assist in data collection, plotting, and survey computations
- Basic knowledge in AutoCAD, Civil 3D, or GIS software
- Can interpret basic site development plans, topographic maps, and layouts
- Detail-oriented and capable of handling fieldwork and survey documentation
