JUNIOR GEOLOGIST

• Assist in ECC preparation by conducting site visits, handling government transactions and preparing required documents for submission to MGB/DENR and other local government agencies as needed.
• Represent the company, together with other company officers in meetings with government agencies regarding MAPSA renewal.
• Gather geological data on specific prospect areas, geological resources, quality/quantity, accessibilities, climatology, pedology, biodiversity, other sciences-related topics.
• Conduct and update geological maps required by the project and future projects as needed.
• Record and update all core log record during exploration drilling on a regular basis; makes sure all core samples are in order
• Organize, record and update archiving of geological maps and other related documents regularly
• Conduct research on data of the prospect area, coordinate with all concerned parties involved in site investigation, investigate prospect area on its mineral potential and viability; submit reports on findings
• Prepare and monitor implementations of exploration, development and environmental work program.

JOB SPECIFICATIONS:

• Preferably licensed Geologist
• At least one (1) year experience, including OJTs or academic research; preferably with relevant fieldwork experience.
• Strong analytical and research skills.
• Proficient in geological softwares (e.g. GIS, MapInfo, etc.)
• Good written and verbal communication skills
• Able to present findings clearly and effectively.
• High attention to detail and accuracy in data collection and analysis.
• Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment and contribute to project goals.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: Php25,000.00 - Php35,000.00 per month
