Junior Handyman

The role involves troubleshooting electrical issues, conducting preventive maintenance, and assisting with minor plumbing, carpentry, painting, and other repair works. The Junior Handyman helps maintain a safe, clean, and well-functioning work environment while complying with company standards and safety regulations. This position requires a graduate of a 2-year Electrical course, electrical certification, and at least 3 years of relevant work experience.

Qualifications

• Graduate of a 2-year course in Electrical Technology or a related field.

• Certified Electrician (TESDA NC II or equivalent certification preferred).

• At least 3 years of experience in electrical maintenance and general handyman work.

• Knowledgeable in electrical installation, repair, troubleshooting, and preventive maintenance.

• Basic skills in plumbing, carpentry, painting, and masonry are an advantage.

• Familiar with safety regulations and proper use of hand and power tools.

• Physically fit and capable of performing maintenance and repair tasks.

• Able to work independently and with minimal supervision.

• Honest, reliable, and with a positive work attitude.

  Job Description

• Perform electrical maintenance, repairs, and troubleshooting of facilities and equipment.

• Install, inspect, and replace electrical wiring, fixtures, switches, outlets, and lighting systems as needed.

• Conduct routine inspections and preventive maintenance of building systems.

• Carry out minor plumbing, carpentry, painting, and masonry repairs.

• Respond promptly to maintenance requests and emergency repair requirements.

• Ensure all maintenance work complies with safety standards and company policies.

• Maintain tools, equipment, and work areas in good condition.

• Prepare and submit maintenance reports and records of completed work.

• Assist in facility improvement and renovation projects as assigned.

• Perform other related duties as may be assigned by the supervisor.
