What they need
Are you ready to take the next step from HR Assistant?
If you’ve built a strong foundation in HR and are ready for more responsibility, this opportunity will give you broader experience across the employee lifecycle and exposure to the advisory side of HR.
An international organisation is seeking a proactive HR professional to join its London team. Working closely with experienced HR Managers, you’ll take ownership of key processes, support employees and managers, and collaborate with colleagues internationally.
The opportunity
This role offers the chance to build on your existing experience and develop your confidence across employee relations, performance management, benefits and international mobility. You’ll combine hands-on coordination with opportunities to contribute to more complex HR matters.
What you’ll be doing
- Managing onboarding and inductions, ensuring new employees receive a welcoming and well-organised introduction.
- Responding to everyday queries about HR policies, procedures and benefits.
- Supporting employee relations matters, including investigations, disciplinary and grievance processes.
- Coordinating probation reviews, annual appraisals, absence management and employee changes.
- Supporting payroll, benefits renewals, wellbeing initiatives and training programmes.
- Assisting with visa processes, international transfers and secondments.
- Maintaining accurate HR records and supporting policy updates.
- Managing leaver processes and conducting occasional exit interviews.
What we’re looking for
You could be an experienced HR Assistant or HR Administrator looking to progress, or an HR Coordinator seeking broader exposure. You will have the following experience:
- 4-5 years’ generalist HR experience (essential), with a solid grounding in employee lifecycle administration.
- Working knowledge of UK employment law and HR best practice.
- Strong organisational skills, attention to detail and the ability to manage competing priorities.
- A confident, approachable communication style and discretion when handling sensitive information.
- A proactive approach and confidence using Microsoft Office, including Excel.
CIPD qualification, or progress towards it, would be welcomed.
Why apply?
This is an opportunity to move beyond a primarily administrative role, gain practical exposure to advisory work and broaden your generalist HR experience alongside experienced HR Managers.
Apply with your CV to take the next step in your HR career.
