Junior Interior Design Specialist

Role Description The Junior Interior Design Specialist will support the design team in developing interior layouts and concepts for residential and commercial projects. Day-to-day responsibilities include assisting with space planning, preparing drawings and mood boards, coordinating furniture and FF&E selections, and helping document design specifications. The role involves collaborating with senior designers, project managers, and site teams to ensure design intent is accurately implemented on-site. The specialist will also participate in client meetings, assist with material sourcing, and help maintain project documentation and sample libraries. This is a full-time, on-site role based in Panaji.

Qualifications

• Candidates should possess skills in Interior Design and Space Planning to support the creation of functional, well-organized layouts.
• Candidates should possess skills in Furniture and FF&E (fixtures, furniture, and equipment) selection to contribute to cohesive design schemes.
• Candidates should possess strong Communication skills to collaborate effectively with clients, vendors, and project teams.
• Candidates should ideally have proficiency with design and drafting tools (e.g., AutoCAD, SketchUp, or similar) and basic knowledge of materials and finishes.
• Relevant education in Interior Design, Architecture, or a related field, along with a portfolio showcasing academic or internship projects, is highly beneficial.
• Attention to detail, willingness to learn, and the ability to work on-site in Panaji as part of a multidisciplinary team are essential.
