Junior Interior Designer

About the role

We are looking for a motivated and creative Junior Interior Designer to join our Thailand team. This is a full-time, on-site position based in Bangkok, primarily supporting corporate office and commercial interior projects in Thailand, with opportunities to collaborate with our Singapore team on selected projects. The Junior Interior Designer will work closely with senior designers and our internal project teams throughout the Design & Build process, from concept development and client presentations to construction drawings, material selection, site coordination, and project implementation. You will also have opportunities to communicate and coordinate directly with both Thai and international clients, making this a great role for someone who wants to develop not only design skills but also practical experience in delivering real projects.

Key responsibilities

• Assist in developing interior design concepts, space planning, and layouts based on project briefs and client requirements
• Create 3D models and renderings using SketchUp + Enscape as the primary design and visualization tools
• Prepare and develop AutoCAD drawings, construction drawings, layouts, details, and design documentation
• Prepare professional design presentations, mood boards, material boards, and preliminary client presentations
• Research and coordinate FF&E, finishes, fixtures, furniture, and interior materials
• Select appropriate materials considering design intent, budget, functionality, and constructability
• Coordinate with internal Design, Project Management, QS, and Construction teams to ensure design intent is properly implemented
• Communicate and coordinate with both Thai and international clients throughout the design process
• Update designs and drawings based on client and internal team feedback
• Participate in site surveys, site visits, and project coordination when required

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Interior Design, Interior Architecture, Architecture, or a closely related field
• Fresh graduates are welcome to apply; 1–3 years of relevant experience in interior design, corporate office, commercial interiors, or fit-out projects will be an advantage
• Strong interest and demonstrated skills in Interior Design and Space Planning
• Good proficiency in SketchUp + Enscape is highly preferred
• Proficiency in AutoCAD with the ability to prepare and interpret construction drawings
• Knowledge of architectural and interior construction principles, including layouts, details, and documentation
• Basic knowledge of FF&E, finishes, fixtures, built-in furniture, and interior materials
• Ability to prepare clear and professional design presentations
• Strong attention to detail, good organizational skills, and the ability to manage multiple tasks under guidance from senior team members
• Responsible, proactive, open to feedback, and comfortable working in a collaborative Design & Build environment
