We are a small, high-performing team where collaboration, accountability, and excellence are non-negotiable. We move quickly, communicate clearly, and take pride in delivering a seamless client experience from concept through installation.

The Opportunity

This role is designed for a motivated Junior Interior Designer ready to grow within a fast-moving boutique firm. You will support all phases of design while developing the skills, confidence, and ownership required to evolve into a Lead Designer.

This is not a passive role. This is an active, hands-on position for someone who wants to learn fast, contribute immediately, and grow intentionally.

Key Responsibilities

Design Support & Execution

  • Assist in developing design concepts, concept boards, renderings and presentations
  • Create and revise floor plans, elevations, and design drawings
  • Support material and FF&E sourcing aligned with project vision
  • Prepare client-facing presentations with clarity and polish

Project Coordination

  • Track selections, specifications, and project details with precision
  • Manage sample orders, vendor communication, and follow-ups

Client & Team Communication

  • Attend client meetings; capture notes and action items
  • Communicate professionally with vendors, trades, and team members
  • Provide timely updates to support a seamless client experience

Studio Operations Support

  • Maintain design library and materials organization
  • Assist with installations, photoshoots, and styling
  • Contribute to a positive, proactive studio culture

These responsibilities reflect the real workflow of a boutique firm; accuracy, follow-through, and communication are everything.

Essential Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Interior Design or related field
  • 1–2 years of experience in a design studio environment
  • Proficiency in AutoCAD, Google Suites, Asana and design tools
  • Strong organizational skills with exceptional attention to detail
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines
  • Clear written and verbal communication
  • Reliable transportation
  • Willingness to communicate directly with vendors and subcontractors by phone when appropriate, ensuring clear, timely, and effective communication

Who You Are

  • Detail-driven and highly accountable
  • Resourceful; you figure things out instead of waiting
  • Positive, collaborative, and solutions-oriented
  • Open to feedback and committed to growth
  • Passionate about approachable, livable design
