About the Role

We're looking for a creative, detail-oriented Junior Interior Designer to join our growing team!

Working alongside our experienced design team, you'll have the opportunity to contribute to unique residential projects throughout Muskoka, gaining hands-on experience in everything from initial concepts and material selections to technical drawings and final installations.

Key Responsibilities

• Assist with interior design concepts, mood boards, material palettes, and space planning.
• Prepare technical drawings, renderings, furniture plans, interior elevations, and finish schedules using Revit.
• Research and source furniture, fixtures, finishes, and equipment (FF&E).
• Support procurement, vendor coordination, and material selection processes.
• Assist with client presentations, project documentation, and design revisions.
• Participate in site visits and collaborate with architects, contractors, and other design professionals.
• Maintain organized project files and ensure deliverables meet FDA's design standards.

Qualifications

• Diploma or degree in Interior Design, Interior Architecture, or a related field.
• 0–2 years of relevant experience; recent graduates are encouraged to apply.
• Proficiency in Revit and familiarity with interior design documentation.
• Strong creative eye, attention to detail, and organizational skills.
• Excellent communication skills and ability to work collaboratively.
• Passion for residential design and willingness to learn and grow.
