Junior Interior Designer

Role Description The Junior Interior Designer will support the design team in developing interior concepts, preparing drawings, and coordinating project details from initial brief through execution. Day-to-day responsibilities include assisting with space planning, preparing presentations and mood boards, updating design documentation, and supporting the selection of materials, finishes. The role also involves coordinating with vendors and contractors, conducting site visits, and helping ensure that designs are implemented according to specifications and timelines. This is a full-time, on-site position based in Pune.

Qualifications

• Strong foundation in Interior Design or Architecture, with the ability to translate concepts into practical design solutions.
• Proficiency in Space Planning, including furniture layouts and circulation planning for residential and/or commercial interiors.
• Ability to prepare and interpret Working Drawings, including detailed plans, elevations, and sections.
• Working knowledge of design and drafting software (e.g., AutoCAD, SketchUp) and basic presentation tools (Canva, Google Sheets).
• Diploma or bachelor’s degree in Interior Design or Architecture.
• Strong visual and spatial awareness, attention to detail, and ability to follow design guidelines and standards.
• Effective communication skills, ability to work in a team, and willingness to learn in a fast-paced studio environment.
