Junior Internal Auditor

Job Title: Internal Audit (Junior Level)

Job Purpose:

To support the Internal Audit function in providing independent and objective assurance on the effectiveness of the organisation's governance, risk management and internal control processes.

The role will participate in both general internal audits and IT audits and will assist in identifying control weaknesses, assessing risks, gathering audit evidence and preparing audit reports.

Key Responsibilities:

Internal Audit:

· Conduct audits of business processes, departments, policies and procedures.

· Review the adequacy and effectiveness of internal controls.

· Perform audit tests and document audit evidence in accordance with approved audit procedures.

· Identify control deficiencies, risks and opportunities for improvement.

· Prepare audit working papers and contribute to audit reports.

· Follow up on agreed corrective actions and outstanding audit findings.

· Maintain appropriate audit documentation and evidence.

I.T Audit:

· Conduct audits of the organisation's IT environment, systems and technology-related processes.

· Review IT general controls, including:

ü User access management

ü Privileged access

ü Password and authentication controls

ü Change management

ü Backup and recovery

ü Incident management

ü IT asset management

ü Patch and vulnerability management

ü Network security

ü Endpoint security

ü Logging and monitoring; and

ü IT operations.

· Assess IT controls against approved policies, procedures and applicable standards.

· Review controls over information systems and applications, including system development and implementation.

· Assist in reviewing cybersecurity controls and identifying potential weaknesses.

· Participate in IT risk assessments and technology-related control reviews.

· Support audits of third-party technology providers and other IT service providers

Requirement:

· B.sc. in Accounting, economics.

· 1-3 years experience.

· Experience in IT Audit. is a must

Pay: ₦300,000.00 - ₦550,000.00 per month
