Junior Inventory Auditor

Duties and Responsibilities

• Conduct fieldwork audits such as spot inventory count, cash count, and document review.
• Perform compliance audit, to determine fraud practices, errors, and non-compliance.
• Document and prepare reports related to the conducted fieldwork
• Investigate and document the root cause of discrepancy between physical counts and system inventory records.
• Assist in reviewing the areas for improvement of processes, procedures and policies for inventory management to strengthen internal control of the company.
• Audit the in-store transactions such as delivery, sales, and pullout to validate the timeliness and completeness of store records.
• Maintain the inventory summary of the assigned stores/departments – min. of 20 locations (Low to Medium Risk Store).
• Responsible for uploading the audited inventory in the system.
• Responsible for ensuring that all accountabilities identified by Audit are posted in the exit employee clearances (EECs) of store personnel.
• Assist in performing special audits, ad-hoc investigations, and reviews as needed.
• Other duties as assigned.

Requirements

·         Graduate of BS degree in Accountancy, Finance, or Business related course.

·         Preferably with 1 year working experience in the fields of audit or accounting.

·         Proficient in MS Office (Word and Excel, in particular).

·         Knowledgeable in Inventory Management or Stock Count Process.

·         Can work on large amount of data and can compose detailed reports.

·         High attention to details and with excellent analytical skills.

·         Strong communication skills.

·         Familiar with ETP and ERP software (e.g. SAP Business One).

·         Can work with less supervision.

·         With desire and willingness to travel nationwide, preferably with flexible schedule.
