JUNIOR IT ENGINEER / SENIOR IT ENGINEER

We are expanding our team and currently hiring for TWO exciting opportunities: Junior IT Engineer and Senior IT Engineer.

1. JUNIOR IT ENGINEER

Job Summary

We are looking for a Junior IT Engineer to provide onsite and remote IT support to our customers and clients. The role involves troubleshooting and maintaining IT infrastructure, including servers, networks, firewalls, VPN, switches, WiFi and other IT systems at client sites. This position provides an opportunity to gain hands-on experience in supporting different IT environments and addressing various customer technical requirements.

Key Responsibilities

• To provide onsite and remote IT support to end-users
• Basic knowledge in LAN/WAN, Wireless AP and Network Security Environment
• Knowledge on Microsoft Windows server and client
• Knowledge on Firewall and VPN
• Knowledge on Switch and WIFI Access Point
• Good knowledge in Microsoft Visio, Excel, Word and Outlook
• To carry out scheduled systems and hardware maintenance tasks
• Able to perform job independently and responsible to job assigned

Requirements

• At least 1 Year(s) of working experience in the related field is required for this position
• Preferably Junior Executive specialized in IT/Computer - Hardware or equivalent
• Candidate must possess at least a Diploma, Advanced Diploma, Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science/Information Technology or above
• Required skills: Windows based Server, Hyper-V, FortiGate Firewall, VPN, L2/L3 Switch, WiFi
• Mandarin-speaking ability will be an added advantage, as the role may involve communication with Mandarin-speaking clients and business partners.

2. SENIOR IT ENGINEER

Job Summary

We are looking for an experienced and technically skilled Senior IT Engineer to manage IT infrastructure, networks, servers, cybersecurity, and technical support, while supporting IT projects and customer requirements.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage and maintain servers, network devices, firewalls, and IT infrastructure.
• Configure, monitor, and troubleshoot LAN, WAN, Wi-Fi, VPN, routers, switches, and firewall systems.
• Monitor network performance, connectivity, and security across IT infrastructure.
• Provide Level 2/Level 3 technical support for hardware, software, network, and system issues.
• Manage Windows Server, Active Directory, DNS, DHCP, and user access.
• Manage and support Microsoft 365 and cloud services.
• Implement and maintain IT security, backup, recovery, and patching.
• Participate in IT infrastructure, network, firewall, cloud, and system implementation projects.
• Provide onsite technical support and troubleshooting at customer locations when required.
• Liaise with customers, vendors, and service providers on technical matters.
• Provide technical guidance and support to junior IT engineers and technical staff.
• Prepare and maintain technical documentation, reports, SOPs, and project-related documents.

Requirements

• Diploma or Bachelor’s Degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or a related field.
• Minimum 4 years of relevant experience in IT infrastructure, system administration, network engineering, or technical support.
• Mandarin-speaking ability will be an added advantage, as the role may involve communication with Mandarin-speaking clients and business partners.
• Strong knowledge of networking, Windows Server, Active Directory, DNS, and DHCP.
• Hands-on experience with routers, switches, firewalls, VPN, and wireless networks.
• Experience with Microsoft 365 and cloud services is an advantage.
• Experience with FortiGate, Sophos, VMware, or Hyper-V will be an added advantage.
• Strong troubleshooting, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
• Good communication and interpersonal skills.
• Able to work independently and lead technical tasks/projects.
• Willing to travel to customer sites when required.
