About the Role:

We are looking for a motivated and enthusiastic Junior IT Executive to join our IT team. The candidate will be responsible for providing basic technical support to employees, maintaining IT infrastructure, troubleshooting hardware and software issues, and assisting with day-to-day IT operations.

This role is suitable for a fresher or candidate with up to 1 year of experience who has good technical knowledge and is willing to learn and grow in the IT domain.

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide first-level technical support to employees for hardware, software, network and system-related issues.
• Install, configure and maintain computers, laptops, printers and other IT equipment.
• Troubleshoot basic Windows, software and connectivity issues.
• Assist in setting up systems, email accounts, user accounts and required applications for new employees.
• Maintain records of IT assets, hardware, software and accessories.
• Support LAN/Wi-Fi, internet connectivity and basic network troubleshooting.
• Coordinate with external IT vendors/service providers whenever required.
• Perform regular system updates, software installations and basic security checks.
• Assist in data backup and basic IT security-related activities.
• Maintain IT documentation and inventory records.
• Ensure IT equipment is properly maintained and available for employees.
• Escalate complex technical issues to the senior IT team or external service providers.
• Support other IT-related activities and projects as assigned by the reporting manager.
• Location & Travel Requirement: The candidate will be based at and report to the Kolkata Head Office (HO), where they will carry out their day-to-day responsibilities. However, the candidate will be required to occasionally visit the Durgapur Plant, as and when necessary, based on business requirements and as instructed by the Management.

Required Skills:

• Basic knowledge of Windows OS, MS Office and computer hardware.
• Basic understanding of LAN, Wi-Fi, networking and internet connectivity.
• Basic troubleshooting skills for hardware and software issues.
• Good communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to diagnose problems and provide timely solutions.
• Good documentation and organizational skills.
• Willingness to learn new technologies and IT tools.

Educational Qualification:

• B.Tech/B.E. (IT/Computer Science), BCA, B.Sc. (Computer Science/IT) or equivalent qualification.
• Freshers with relevant technical knowledge are encouraged to apply.

Compensation & Benefits:

· Salary (in Rs.): 12,000 – 15,000 / monthly

· PF, ESIC and Annual Bonus offered

Pay: ₹12,000.00 - ₹15,000.00 per month
