What they need
- Install and set up computer hardware, operating systems, and applications.
- Monitor and maintain computer systems and networks.
- Provide IT assistance to users remotely and in person.
- Identify and fix hardware, software, and network problems.
- Replace faulty hardware when needed.
- Keep proper records of IT issues and solutions.
- Follow instructions to repair or set up computer systems.
- Help install and launch new applications and systems.
- Create user accounts and resolve login or password issues.
- Respond to requests within the agreed time and SLA.
- Manage and prioritize tasks until completion or referral to third parties.
- Build good working relationships with users and other teams.
- Test and evaluate new technology.
- Check computer equipment for electrical safety.
- Perform other duties as assigned by the supervisor.
- Manage vendor payments and purchase requests for daily operations.
- Manage IT assets for internal staff and external clients.
