🚀 We're Hiring: Junior IT Support Officer

What You'll Be Doing:

• Providing first-line technical support
• Diagnosing and resolving hardware, software, and network issues.
• Installing, configuring, and troubleshooting computer systems, software applications, and devices.
• Performing routine and preventative maintenance on IT hardware
• Updating operating systems and software applications.
• Monitoring system performance and taking proactive measures to address potential issues.
• Assisting in the setup and maintenance of networks
• Maintaining network security measures
• Installing, upgrading, and maintaining computer hardware components
• Managing inventory of IT equipment and supplies
• Coordinating with vendors for hardware repairs and replacements
• Conduct training sessions for hotel team members on IT systems and procedures as required
• Monitor and respond to security incidents and breaches
• Keeping informed about industry trends and advancements
• Collaborating with the Commercial team to optimise digital operations.
• Work with HODs to improve their day-to-day procedures.

What We're Looking For:

• Diploma in Computer Science or an IT-related qualification/certification.
• Strong proficiency in MS Suite; knowledge of hotel PMS, e.g., Opera Cloud, will be considered an asset.
• Previous experience in a hospitality environment will be considered an asset
• Strong Technical Support and Troubleshooting skills for resolving day-to-day IT issues.
• Solid Information Technology knowledge, including basic networking, operating systems, and common business applications.
• Candidates should possess practical experience with computers, including installation, configuration, and maintenance.
• Excellent written and spoken English.
• Ability to communicate clearly with non-technical team members and provide user-friendly guidance.
• Strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and the ability to prioritize multiple support requests.

• Authorisation to take up employment in Malta is essential

Working Hours:

• Monday to Friday (Onsite)
• On-call support as part of the role.
• Flexibility to provide support outside standard hours when required.
