Junior Java Developer

Key Responsibilities

• Develop, maintain, and enhance backend applications using Java 8+ and Spring Boot.
• Develop and integrate REST APIs and work with databases using JPA/Hibernate.
• Assist in developing and maintaining microservices-based applications.
• Work with technologies such as RabbitMQ, Docker, Kubernetes, and CI/CD pipelines.
• Implement basic application security using JWT and OAuth 2.0.
• Perform unit testing, debugging, troubleshooting, and application maintenance.
• Collaborate with QA, DevOps, fellow developers, and business teams to deliver reliable software solutions.
• Work with cloud platforms such as AWS or OCI and relational databases such as Oracle, MySQL, PostgreSQL, or DB2.

Job Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or a related field.
• With 2 years of professional experience in Java development, preferably with backend application development.
• Strong knowledge of Java 8+, Spring Boot, REST APIs, and object-oriented programming.
• Experience with Microservices, JPA/Hibernate, and relational databases.
• Familiarity with Docker, Kubernetes, RabbitMQ, and CI/CD tools.
• Experience with JUnit or TestNG and version control tools such as Git.
• Basic knowledge of JWT, OAuth 2.0, AWS/OCI, and application security.
• Strong problem-solving, debugging, communication, and teamwork skills.

Pay: Php55,000.00 - Php65,000.00 per month
