Junior legal executive

Key responsibilities

• Assist in preparing, reviewing, and managing company contracts and legal documents
• Assist with legal matters including disputes, claims, litigation, arbitration, and employment-related matters
• Conduct legal research and support compliance and legal risk management activities
• Assist in liaising with external lawyers, legal consultants, and relevant authorities
• Support legal documentation, company seal management, record keeping, and internal legal training
• Perform other legal-related duties as assigned by the supervisor or Legal Department

About you

• Bachelor's Degree or above in Law or a related discipline
• Basic knowledge of Malaysian laws, particularly contract, commercial, employment, construction, and corporate-related laws
• Good legal research, analytical, drafting, and communication skills
• Proficient in Bahasa Melayu, English, and Mandarin
• Internship or working experience in a law firm or legal department is an advantage
• Basic knowledge of legal compliance, risk management, and contract review
• Exposure to litigation, arbitration, dispute resolution, or construction contracts is an added advantage
• CLP or equivalent professional qualification is an advantage
• Willing to work on-site and travel when required
