Junior Loan Officer

Overview
We are seeking a motivated Loan Officer Assistant to join our team. While experience is not necessary, you must be a team player willing to learn and grow as an individual. If you have excellent customer service skills and a keen eye for financial details, we want to hear from you. Rapid growth potential as well as a tiered bonus structure.

Responsibilities

• Interview applicants to determine financial eligibility and feasibility of granting loans
• Work with Senior Loan Officer to offer customers the different types of loans and credit options that are available, as well as the terms of those services
• Obtain and compile copies of loan applicants' credit histories, corporate financial statements, and other financial information
• Review and update credit and loan files
• Stay informed about changes in financial regulations and legislation

Skills

• Strong understanding of basic math principles

• Exceptional customer service skills

• Keyboarding/Typing

• Microsoft Office

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: From $42,000.00 per year

Experience:

• Loan origination: 1 year (Preferred)
• Sales: 1 year (Preferred)

Ability to Commute:

• Rockville Centre, NY 11570 (Required)
