What they need

Full-time | 40 hours per week | Office-based on Dominion Road

We’re looking for a Junior Marketing Coordinator to join Boxcrib, a specialist construction marketing agency based on Dominion Road.

We work with businesses across the construction sector and operate as a full-service agency, with strategy, social media, content, graphic design, photography, videography, websites, SEO and digital advertising all handled in-house.

This is a great opportunity for someone early in their marketing career who wants exposure to a broad range of marketing disciplines and the chance to learn how an agency actually operates.

You’ll work closely with our Marketing Coordinators and wider creative and digital team, helping manage client accounts, plan and create social media content, coordinate shoots and site visits, communicate with clients and keep monthly marketing activity moving.

You don’t need to know everything already. We’re looking for someone organised, switched on, confident in communicating with people and willing to learn.

Writing and attention to detail matter

A significant part of this role involves social media content, planning, client communication and coordinating marketing activity.

You’ll need to be a strong writer with excellent attention to detail.

That means being able to write clearly, pick up spelling or grammar issues, understand different brand voices and make sure work is accurate before it goes in front of a client or gets published.

You’ll also need to be organised. There can be a lot happening across multiple clients at once, so being able to keep track of tasks, deadlines and small details is important.

What you’ll be doing

Your role will include:

  • Supporting Marketing Coordinators across a portfolio of client accounts
  • Writing and planning social media content
  • Helping develop monthly content and marketing plans
  • Communicating with clients and providing updates
  • Coordinating site visits, photography and video shoots
  • Briefing graphic designers, photographers, videographers and other team members
  • Scheduling and organising content
  • Assisting with client meetings and taking actions from them
  • Helping manage deadlines and monthly deliverables
  • Reviewing content before it is sent to clients or published
  • Supporting website, SEO, email marketing and digital campaign activity
  • Working alongside our Google Ads, Meta Ads, content, design and digital teams
  • Learning how marketing strategies are developed and delivered
  • Gradually taking more ownership of client accounts as your experience develops
  • Helping with the day-to-day tasks required to keep client marketing moving

There will be plenty to learn, and the role will evolve as your skills and confidence grow.

What we’re looking for

We’re looking for someone with:

  • Excellent written English and strong attention to detail
  • Strong verbal communication skills
  • Good organisation and time management
  • An interest in marketing, content and business
  • Confidence communicating with clients and team members
  • The ability to manage multiple tasks at once
  • Initiative and a willingness to solve problems
  • A positive attitude towards feedback and learning
  • A good understanding of social media
  • An ability to work well within a fast-moving team
  • A willingness to take ownership of your work

You might be a marketing graduate, currently working in an entry-level marketing role, or looking to move into an agency environment.

Previous professional marketing experience is useful, but it isn’t essential.

We care much more about finding someone capable, reliable and eager to develop.

Experience that would be a plus

None of the following are required, but they would give you a head start:

  • Previous marketing agency experience
  • Experience marketing within the construction industry
  • Social media management or content creation experience
  • Copywriting experience
  • Meta Ads Manager
  • Google Ads
  • SEO
  • Canva
  • Adobe Creative Suite
  • Website management
  • Photography or video experience

You do not need to be a specialist in these areas.

One of the advantages of joining Boxcrib is that you’ll work alongside people specialising in each of them and develop an understanding of how the different parts of marketing work together.

Why work at Boxcrib?

We’re a growing specialist agency with a strong team culture and plenty of opportunity for people who want to build their careers with us.

Benefits include:

  • Regular team events
  • Pastry Fridays
  • Incentives to take time off, travel and properly switch off
  • Genuine opportunities for progression
  • Future pathways into Marketing Coordinator, Senior Coordinator and management roles
  • A preference to promote internally wherever possible
  • Exposure to a broad range of construction businesses
  • Exposure to almost every major marketing discipline
  • The opportunity to work closely with an experienced in-house creative and digital team
  • Beans, our office sausage dog

The role

This is a full-time, 40-hour-per-week office-based position at our Dominion Road office.

We’re looking for someone who wants to build a career in marketing rather than simply find their next job.

If you’re a strong writer, highly organised, good with people and interested in learning how a full-service marketing agency works, we’d like to hear from you.

Please include a tailored cover letter with your application.

Tell us a little about yourself, why you want to work in marketing, why an agency environment appeals to you and anything you’ve done - professionally, through study or personally - that you think demonstrates your writing, creativity, organisation or marketing ability.

Generic cover letters, including anything obviously AI-generated, will not be considered.

Other offers great for you!
