Junior Marketing Manager

About the role

Luzi (Malaysia) Sdn Bhd is seeking an Junior Marketing Manager to join our Marketing & Communication division This is a full-time position based in Kulai, Johor, offering an excellent opportunity to deliver creative, customer-focused and high-quality marketing initiatives. As the Junior Marketing Manager, you will be working closely with experienced colleagues across Marketing, Sales, Fragrance Design and other departments as you are in need of contribution to marketing campaigns, customer presentations, events and communication activities while building expertise in fragrance marketing and brand communication.

Key responsibilities

Marketing Execution & Content Development

• Develop customer presentations, marketing materials, and content based on fragrance, consumer, and market trends.

• Support the execution of marketing campaigns, customer meetings, exhibitions, and events.

• Coordinate graphic design requests, mock-ups, and marketing collateral.

Market & Trend Intelligence

• Conduct market research and monitor product launches, consumer behavior, and industry trends.

• Generate insights and recommendations to support marketing strategies and customer opportunities.

Merchandising & Promotional Support

• Coordinate sourcing, procurement, and supplier management for promotional and merchandising items.

• Support the development and maintenance of the merchandising portfolio for events and marketing activities.

Cross-Functional Project Coordination

• Collaborate with Sales and internal stakeholders to support marketing initiatives and project execution.

• Prepare project documentation, presentations, and decision-support materials.

Operational Excellence & Continuous Improvement

• Ensure timely, accurate, and high-quality delivery of assigned tasks and projects.

• Contribute to process improvements, innovation, and professional development initiatives.

What we're looking for

• Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Communications, Business Administration or a related discipline.
• 1–3 years of relevant professional experience in Marketing, Brand Management or Communications.
• Experience in the fragrance, cosmetics, beauty or FMCG industry is an advantage.
• Strong interest in consumer trends, branding and storytelling.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English.
• Good knowledge of Microsoft Office, especially PowerPoint; experience with graphic design tools is an advantage.
• Well-organized, proactive and eager to learn.
