Junior Mechanical & Electrical Engineer (Protege Programme)

As a Junior M&E Engineering, will assist in design, documentation, and overseeing mechanical and electrical works at site. Support the engineering team in reviewing technical drawings, coordinating with contractors and suppliers, and ensuring that all installations comply with project requirements and safety regulations.

Essential Job Functions

The Junior Project Executive will support Project Engineers in planning, coordinating, and monitoring project activities from start to finish. The role involves assisting with project documentation, progress tracking, site coordination, and communication with internal teams, contractors, vendors, and clients to support timely completion and meet project requirements.

1. Assist Project Engineers in planning, coordinating, and monitoring daily project activities.

2. Support Project Engineers in coordinating with internal teams, contractors, vendors, and clients to ensure smooth project execution.

3. Prepare, organise, and maintain project documentation, including reports, schedules, drawings, and correspondence.

4. Track work progress, follow up on outstanding tasks, and provide regular updates to Project Engineers.

5. Assist Project Engineers in identifying project risks and issues, and follow up on agreed actions.

6. Attend project meetings, prepare minutes of meeting (MOM), and track action items.

7. Provide administrative and coordination support to Project Engineers.

8. Conduct site visits as required to assist Project Engineers in monitoring progress, checking work completion, and coordinating with on-site teams.

9. Support Project Engineers in monitoring site compliance with safety procedures and applicable regulatory requirements, and report any concerns.

10. Liaise with contractors and vendors, under the guidance of Project Engineers, to follow up on site issues, material deliveries, and work schedules.

11. Assist Project Engineers with site inspections and quality checks to verify that work meets approved specifications and project requirements.

12. Record site observations and highlight delays, quality concerns, or potential risks to Project Engineers for further action.

13. Undertake other duties and assignments as instructed by superiors within the organisation.

Pay: From RM2,000.00 per month
