Job Details:
The Junior Mechanical Design Engineer creates 3D models, 2D technical drawings, and prototypes for mechanical systems while supporting senior engineers in testing, troubleshooting, and design validation.
- Graduate of Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical Engineering or related field
- Proficient with MS applications and background on 3D CAD. Creo experience is an advantage
- Collaborates with other teams such as Electronics Engineering, Firmware, Manufacturing, Quality, and Supply Chain
- Generates Mechanical Bill of Materials (BOM) for quotation and product development
- Conducts First Article Inspection (FAI) and conducts analysis on failed dimensions/assembly
- Participates in general engineering brainstorming particularly on the Mechanical discipline
- Assertive, well-organized, result-oriented with good problem solving and analytical skills
- Must be updated with the latest advancements in technology, design trends, and engineering best practices
- Must have good writing, presentation and reporting skills
