What they need
- Prepare 2D manufacturing drawings based on 3D models, layouts, and inputs from senior engineers.
- Support senior engineers in converting concept designs into detailed design documentation.
- Prepare part drawings, assembly drawings, fabrication drawings, machining drawings, and BOMs.
- Follow drawing standards, dimensions, tolerances, GD&T inputs, and manufacturing requirements as guided by senior engineers.
- Assist in design detailing for robotic welding fixtures, automation systems, SPMs, and custom machinery.
- Coordinate with senior engineers to clarify design intent, manufacturing requirements, and drawing corrections.
- Update drawings and design documents based on review comments and project requirements.
- Maintain proper file organization, drawing revisions, and design records.
- Support the team in basic design calculations, data preparation, and project documentation when required.
- Learn and apply company design standards, manufacturing practices, and quality requirements.
