Junior Mechanical Engineer

• Assist in the design and development of mechanical components and systems by utilizing CAD software to create detailed drawings and models.
• Conduct testing and analysis of prototypes to ensure performance meets specifications, documenting findings for future reference.
• Collaborate with senior engineers to identify and troubleshoot design issues, providing innovative solutions to enhance product functionality.
• Participate in the preparation of project documentation, including technical reports, design specifications, and project timelines.
• Engage in continuous learning of industry trends and technologies to contribute fresh ideas and improvements to the engineering team.
• Assist in the evaluation and selection of materials for projects, considering factors such as durability, cost, and environmental impact.
• Maintain organized project files and documentation, facilitating easy access to information for team members and stakeholders.
• Participate in regular team meetings, providing updates on project status and contributing to brainstorming sessions for new projects.

Desired Candidate Profile

• Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related field, demonstrating a solid foundation in engineering principles.
• Familiarity with CAD software such as SolidWorks or AutoCAD, enabling effective design and modeling of mechanical systems.
• Relevant internships or co-op experience in mechanical design or manufacturing, showcasing practical application of engineering concepts.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with a keen attention to detail in analyzing design specifications and performance.
• Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, facilitating clear reporting and collaboration with team members.
• Adaptability and willingness to learn, essential for keeping pace with technological advancements in the engineering field.
• Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment, contributing positively to group dynamics and project success.
• Basic understanding of industry standards and regulations, ensuring compliance in all engineering practices and designs.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and other engineering software, enhancing productivity and project management capabilities.
• Area of experience-Mechanical Design (HVAC/Fire protection System/Plumbing/Drainage).
• 2 to 5 years Qatar/GCC experience in the same field.
• Candidates with valid accreditation from UPDA Preferred.
