About the role

ARCCO Corporation is looking for a skilled Junior Mechanical Engineer to join our team. In this full-time role, you’ll have the opportunity to contribute to the design, development, and enhancement of industrial machinery and equipment, playing a vital part in the company’s strategic objectives.

What you'll be doing

• Assist in evaluating client requirements and providing input on suitable imported boiler options.
• Participate in analyzing technical data, performance characteristics, and efficiency of different boiler models.
• Collaborate with senior engineers to review specifications and compliance with industry standards.
• Support senior engineers during the installation process of boilers at client sites.
• Develop maintenance schedules and procedures for boilers to ensure optimal performance and longevity, compliant with specifications and guidelines.
• Perform regular inspections and maintenance tasks to prevent potential issues and breakdowns.
• Troubleshoot and diagnose boiler malfunctions, identify root causes, and implement appropriate repairs.
• Document service activities comprehensively for accurate reporting.

What we're looking for

• Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related field
• 1-3 years of relevant experience in a similar role. Fresh graduates are welcome
• Basic understanding of boilers, burners, thermodynamics, heat transfers, and other mechanical engineering principles.
• Familiarity with industrial electrical circuit diagrams.
• Ability to read and interpret technical drawings, schematics, and blueprints.
• Solid foundation in engineering mathematics for calculations and problem-solving.
• Familiarity with Computer-Aided Design (CAD) software for creating and modifying mechanical designs.
• Good verbal and written communication skills.
• Ability to adapt to new technologies, tools, and procedures.
• Basic organizational skills to manage tasks effectively and meet project deadlines.
• Understanding of basic safety protocols.
• Logical and analytical mindset to approach challenges.
• Humble attitude to learn from experienced senior engineers.
