Junior Mechanical Engineer

Job Summary

We are looking for a motivated and technically sound Junior Mechanical Engineer to support the maintenance, troubleshooting, and smooth functioning of machinery and equipment at our manufacturing facilities. The candidate will assist the maintenance team in ensuring equipment reliability, minimizing downtime, and maintaining safe working conditions.

Key Responsibilities

• Assist in the installation, maintenance, and repair of mechanical machinery and equipment.
• Conduct routine inspections and preventive maintenance of machines.
• Identify mechanical faults and assist in troubleshooting breakdowns.
• Maintain maintenance records, breakdown reports, and equipment service logs.
• Coordinate with production and maintenance teams to minimize machine downtime.
• Monitor machine performance and report recurring technical issues to the senior engineer.
• Ensure proper functioning of pumps, motors, valves, pipelines, gearboxes, and other mechanical components, as applicable.
• Support the implementation of preventive and corrective maintenance schedules.
• Ensure compliance with workplace safety procedures and maintenance standards.
• Coordinate with external vendors and service technicians for repairs and servicing.
• Maintain the availability of essential spare parts and tools.

Educational Qualification

• Diploma or Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical Engineering.
• Freshers or candidates with up to 2 years of relevant experience may apply.

Required Skills

• Basic knowledge of mechanical systems, machinery, and maintenance practices.
• Understanding of preventive maintenance and mechanical troubleshooting.
• Ability to read basic engineering drawings and technical manuals.
• Good problem-solving and communication skills.
• Basic computer knowledge, including MS Excel and maintenance documentation.
• Willingness to work in a manufacturing or factory environment.

Pay: ₹8,000.00 - ₹30,000.00 per month
